The Board of Education approved revisions to the GCS Instructional Calendar for this school year. Please note the following revisions.
- There will be no school on Friday, May 26.
- The last day of school for students in grades K-7 will be a half-day on Wednesday, June 21 with dismissal at 11:15 a.m.
- Thursday, June 22 is the last day of school for students in 8-12 UNLESS they are taking the Physics exam. Click here to view the revised calendar and see below for the information at-a-glance.
Calendar At-a-Glance
- Friday, May 26: No school K-12
- Monday, June 19 - Juneteenth Holiday: No school K-12
- Tuesday, June 20 - Regular school day K-12
- Wednesday, June 21 - Last day of school for students in K-7, the last day will be a half-day for K-7 students with dismissal at 11:15 a.m.
- Grades 8-12 will take their exams. Exam schedule to follow.
- *Thursday, June 22 - Only students in grades 8-12 taking the physics exam will attend school.
- Friday, June 23 - No school K-12
