The Geneseo Central School District is congratulating the September junior officer of the month and the Middle School and High School students of the month.
School Resource Officer Hopper awarded Jael Dejesus Torres, grade 1, as Junior Officer of the Month.
“While visiting Mrs. Aradine’s class, Jael was very kind,” Hopper said. “He asked me how I was doing today with a big smile on his face. Every time I see Jael he shows traits of kindness and always puts a smile on people’s faces!”
The September students of the month for middle and high school were announced on Oct. 13. The students were nominated by staff for demonstrating "Go Blue" behavior of grit, optimism, bravery, leadership, understanding and excellence.
“The staff are very proud of our students of the month,” Principal Michael Salatel said. “The students have demonstrated the important character traits that make our school a better place for all. We are looking forward to their continued leadership and positive contributions.”
