Geneseo Central School District’s high school graphic design class wrapped up a branding project with assistance from a popular Rochester coffee shop.
The class is taught by teacher Rob Antonucci. Students were assigned to create their own coffee company brand with an original name, logo, color scheme and three separate products.
Antonucci said the class worked with Rory Van Grol who is the owner of Ugly Duck Coffee in Rochester.
“In my classes, I like to try to incorporate real world applications and experiences into what we are doing in class,” Antonucci said. “Rory’s involvement consists of giving students advice about the business and what sells to customers. It’s really great to have him as a resource.”
Students used Adobe products to complete the designs. The final artwork can be found on the Geneseo Central Art Facebook page
